Redondo Beach, Los Angeles
Redondo Beach is known for it carefree beach town atmospher and the city is home to a scenie pier and lot of seafood restaurants. Volleyball, hiking, cycling, fishing, sailing, scuba diving.. etc are some of the most popular activities in the area. Still known as a tourist and resort town, Redondo can boast of piers with fishing and amusements, a Saltwater Lagoon reminiscent of the old plunge, many fine food restaurants and hotels, and a beautiful harbor.
Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles
Hermosa Beach has almost 2 miles of ocean frontage with 94 acres of public beach and is one of the most popular beaches in Los Angeles County due to the excellent surf, good swimming areas, and the various volleyball nets along the sand.The city-owned beach runs along the Santa Monica Bay before running into King Harbor in Redondo Beach.
Santa Monica Beach, Los Angeles
Located just west of Downtown Los Angeles, Santa Monica beach is a prime example of the famed Southern California beaches. In the middle of the beach, extending from Colorado Boulevard and the center of Santa Monica, is the Santa Monica Pier. The pier is a landmark for the beach and the city, featuring an amusement park, aquarium, shopping, restaurants and more.
